The International Students Academy Begins
The International Students Academy program, under the auspices of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, aims to contribute to the academic development of our international students through collaboration with local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and universities across the country. About 6500 students from 16 different cities have applied for the academy.
The International Students Academy is organized every year with the goal of improving our international students' academic performance, contributing to their social and cultural knowledge and experience, as well as enabling them to establish lasting and sustainable relationships after graduation.
For the past three years, thousands of international students have attended the academy program which, this year, will proceed in 16 different cities with collaboration of about 30 NGOs. This platform presents an opportunity for international students to learn about Turkey's history and cultural background, as well as to discuss international issues through a series of seminars given by renowned artists, intellectuals, scientists and bureaucrats. We are pleased to announce that interviews have been conducted and the selection process has been completed. Students who qualified for places in the academy program have started with their training.
