The 2nd International Students Social Sciences Congress was held in Konya
In an attempt to provide an academic environment that would enable our international graduate students of Social Sciences to present their research, exchange knowledge, and carry out joint studies through various workshops and other activities The 2nd International Students Social Sciences Congress was organized.
The 2nd International Students Social Sciences Congress was held in Konya from April 29th through May 1st, 2016 with the collaboration of Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities and this year's congress host Necmettin Erbakan University.
On account of YTB proclaiming 2016 as the year of Kosovo, a special session regarding Kosovo was organized within the scope of country studies. In addition to the reports on Kosovo, the priority was given to studies in the fields of Economy, International Relations, Political Science, Sociology, Human Rights, Diaspora, Migration and Refugees.
310 students from 68 different countries applied for the congress through http://www.uokongresi.org website. Students from 104 different universities including 80 universities from our country and 24 universities from abroad uploaded their reports. 120 reports in different fields of social sciences were presented by international students during parallel sessions of the Congress.
